2022 SketchUp UX/UI Internship
SUMMER 2022
During the summer of 2022, I completed a UX internship at Trimble Inc. on their SketchUp team. My time there was incredibly rewarding and informative, albeit a bit unconventional. As SketchUp is a rather large piece of software with multiple platforms, I had the opportunity to experiment and create solutions that addressed each platform’s specifications, such as gestures using the Apple Pencil for the iPad version of SketchUp.
The projects I contributed towards are ongoing and overlapped frequently, making it difficult to show individual aspects of each project. So instead, I’ve summarized the overall experience of the internship and the primary takeaways of the work I did during my time at SketchUp.
