OSI news: Gavin Harrison tracks drums

Gavin Harrison of Porcupine Tree has just laid down drum tracks on a handful of new OSI songs.  Jim and I continue to write and record material for the fourth OSI album, our first with Metal Blade Records.   Mixing is slated for June 2011.

I'm glad Gavin is back on drums on OSI, he's such and amazing and classy drummer, I like the way he approaches his playing style. Can't wait for it, thanks for such amazing music.

Thoroughly enjoyed "Blood". Gavin's unique style really enhanced the OSI sound. Thrilled to learn he's returning and can't wait to hear the new material!

Gavin is so enjoyable to listen to. What a great match with OSI! His work on Blood is really great. He seems to have such an incredible range of dynamics whereby he knows very well to just lightly decorate a part with scattered phrases instead of being a dominate feature of it. Stockholm is a strong example of this.

I am so looking forward to the new material.

Sorry, can't type all that well on a touch screen.

See ya!
